| Boone is located in the northwestern corner of North Carolina and NC Hwy. 105, US Highways 221, 321, and 421 all converge in Boone. Watauga Gun Club is located outside the city limits of Boone off of NC Hwy. 194 North. | |
| From US 221 or US 321 into Boone follow US421 South, turn onto NC Hwy. 194 North at the 3-way traffic light. | Then - Travel 2.9 miles on NC Hwy 194 to Castle Ford Road. (When you see the KOA campground signs you're close.) Castle Ford Road forks off to the right just past a curve. Travel 1.6 miles to the Watauga Gun Club sign at Appaloosa Trail. (If you cross a bridge on Castle Ford Road, you've gone too far.) Turn onto Appaloosa Trail. Watch for parking signs on the right. |
